Prive Cafe– Romantic Waterside Dining

The last time i came here was very very long ago when the place had just opened and its really nice to see that the place retains its charms of being a waterfront dining. It is much more crowded now but I must say the service, food and ambience is still tops!

smoked Salmon salad

We had the smoked salmon salad for starters and even though it is more expensive than your normal salad the salmon portion was good and taste was very fresh. I think one can even make a good meal out of it. The salmon was fresh and succulent without being too smoky. Salad was fresh and not overwhelmed with sauce.

For mains, the angmokia had the beef which was a good portion and I wasnt too hungry so i had the mac and cheese starters which was quite yummy! The menu has a section of bar grub which is quite special. For this mac and cheese, its a little bit like fried mozarella sticks but the cheese is more chewy than gooey and its not too strong for people who are not much of a cheese eater. Inside these small cubes of heaven there are small bits of mushroom. It is supposed to have some truffle oil but i didnt taste it.

Will definitely go back.. and seriously, the service is wonderful even though the crowd was overwhleming!
